The short version
Domain Tracker is a desktop app for people who own more domains than they can remember. It stores registrar, expiration date, price, status, tags and notes per domain, keeps payment history with optional auto-extend, pulls registrar and expiry straight from RDAP, and runs health checks on DNS, uptime and SSL. Live FX rates normalize costs across USD, EUR, GBP and GEL. Everything lives in a local SQLite file - no server, no account.
Domains expire quietly. Registrar dashboards only know their own domains, spreadsheets never get updated, and the reminder email always lands in spam. This keeps the whole portfolio in one place, verifies it against RDAP and live DNS instead of trusting what you typed, and warns you 30 days out.
Why it earns the install
- 01
RDAP lookup fills registrar, expiration and nameservers for you, and re-verifies them later so the record cannot silently drift.
- 02
Health checks cover DNS resolution, HTTP/HTTPS uptime and SSL certificate expiry - not just the domain's own expiry date.
- 03
Desktop notifications 30 days before anything expires.
- 04
Payment history per domain, with optional auto-extend of the expiration date when a renewal is logged.
- 05
Live FX rates across USD, EUR, GBP and GEL, so the total cost of the portfolio is one number.
- 06
Local SQLite storage with no external server, plus CSV export/import and full JSON backup/restore to move between machines.
- 07
Electron with context isolation on and node integration off in the renderer.
